Karen Douglas - My Hilarious Journey into ConTact C.A.R.E (Now with a Twist!):

So, there I was, a regular pet parent, when my beloved doggo, Jessy, decided to have a little misadventure at daycare. Picture this: Jessy, the four-legged furball, limping back home with a hurt leg. Off we went to the vet, not once, not twice, but multiple times! It was like a never-ending soap opera, "The Days of Jessy's Leg." We were on the brink of consulting a specialist, probably someone with a fancy title like "Supreme Overlord of Canine Limbs."

But then, plot twist! We met Lisa Bishop, the K9 practitioner extraordinaire. Seriously, if there were Oscars for doggy doctors, she'd have a shelf full of them. Within a few hours of her magical touch, Jessy was not just walking but practically doing the cha-cha. No specialist needed, no dramatic surgeries, just pure, unadulterated ConTact C.A.R.E magic.

That's when the light bulb moment happened. I thought, "Hey, if Jessy can go from limping to salsa dancing in a few hours, why can't I spread this joy?" Animals are like little bundles of love on four legs, and they deserve all the care in the world. It's our duty as pet parents to ensure they live their best lives, pain-free and happy. Plus, let's be honest, a world with more tail-wagging and less whimpering is a world we all want.

So, I dove headfirst into the world of ConTact C.A.R.E, not just for the fur babies, but for their human counterparts too. Because, as it turns out, humans can benefit from a little ConTact C.A.R.E magic as well. Who knew that the secret to happiness might just lie in our bones?

But wait, there's more! I didn't just stop at becoming a ConTact C.A.R.E practitioner. Oh no, I went the extra mile, leaped over the doggy gate, and became the world's first certified K9 practitioner! That's right, folks, I'm like the Neil Armstrong of the canine ConTact C.A.R.E world, making history one paw at a time.

And that, my friends, is the tale of how I became a ConTact C.A.R.E practitioner, and the world's first certified K9 practitioner. It's a story of love, laughter, and a little bit of leg-healing. So, if you or your furry friend ever need a helping hand (or paw), you know who to call!

Whether you’ve undergone surgery or are on the brink of it, this method seeks to release physical pressures, potentially aiding in both avoiding surgical procedures and bolstering recovery for those who undergo them.

Though we’re not medical doctors, Contact C.A.R.E understands the interconnectedness of our body and seeks to release pressures, possibly alleviating certain symptomatic stresses and tensions without claiming to cure or heal. Any medical issues should first be discussed with your GP.

Expect a sanctuary where your body and mind’s narratives are heard and observed. Your issues are acknowledged and addressed in a safe space, with sessions spanning between 30 to 60 minutes. Post-session, you may experience a brief, normal period of discomfort as your body realigns and, occasionally, “homework” may be prescribed to further your journey between sessions.
